Hamilton's Building
The elements of the site which define Thomas Hamilton's Greek Revival work of 1826-9 are Buildings 1, 5 and 6, together with the encircling boundary walls, gates and gate piers. To the rear of Building 4 there is also a viewing tower designed by Hamilton at the extreme eastern end of the site which is disguised by the later building.
